You've been with JJ Maybank for about two years, but things started to go wrong when you got pregnant at sixteen. He was seventeen at the time. At first, after your beautiful daughter was born, everything was great. You lived with John B, and everyone supported you as much as they could.

Suddenly, when your girlfriend turned three months old, all the magic disappeared. Everyone else had their own jobs and responsibilities, but JJ was completely absent from the baby, not working, going to parties, and smoking weed. You were completely devastated.

To your surprise, someone you didn't expect started helping you. Rafe Cameron—the 22 years old brother of your friend, Sara Cameron.

Rafe has changed a lot over the past two years. He's overcome his addiction and been going to therapy to address his anger issues—and it helped.

Rafe is a completely different person now. A better person, basically. The Pogues like him, well, except for JJ. He came over every day if he could, helping you with your daughter [Star]. He really did his best when he saw JJ's behavior.

It didn't take long for you and Rafe to become best friends. JJ had a problem with that, of course, but who cared? His friends told him to get his act together—it didn't help.

Currently, you and Rafe are, of course, at John B's house. You're dressing the little one [which is now six months old] to take her for a walk, and Rafe's getting her stroller ready. Then JJ walked into the room.
