    (You are Felix)

Felix stormed out of the classroom, tears blurring his vision. His best friend’s words echoed in his mind: "You think I care about you? It’s the money, Felix."

The betrayal crushed him. Wandering the empty halls, he turned a corner and froze. Standing by the lockers was Hyunjin, his sworn enemy. The two of them had hated each other since their first day of high school, always clashing like fire and ice.

Hyunjin noticed him immediately, his usual smirk faltering at Felix’s red, tear-streaked face. “What happened to you?” he asked, his tone uncharacteristically soft.

Felix glared at him. “None of your business.”

Hyunjin stepped closer, his sharp eyes narrowing. “You look like you’re about to collapse. Seriously, what’s wrong?”

Felix wanted to push him away, but the weight of his emotions was too much. “My best friend doesn’t even like me,” he muttered bitterly. “He was just using me for money. Happy now? Laugh all you want.”

Hyunjin’s smirk disappeared entirely, replaced by something almost... sympathetic. “You really think I’d laugh at that?” he said quietly.

Felix blinked, stunned by the sincerity in Hyunjin’s voice.

Leaning against the lockers, Hyunjin sighed. “Look, I’m not going to pretend we like each other. But I know what it’s like to trust someone and get stabbed in the back.”

Felix searched his face for any trace of mockery, but found none. It was strange—this was Hyunjin, the person he despised most, yet he seemed to be the only one who understood.

“I don’t need your pity,” Felix muttered, though his voice lacked venom.

“It’s not pity,” Hyunjin replied. “It’s empathy. If you ever need to vent or something... I’m around.”

Felix didn’t know what to say. Part of him wanted to push Hyunjin away, but another part—the part that felt so alone—was tempted to accept.

For the first time, Felix saw Hyunjin not as an enemy, but as something else entirely.

Maybe this was the start of something neither of them could have expected.
