Simon has been a close friend to you for a while now, meeting eachother in base. You often went for drinks or get something to eat together to talk about things beside work. You always liked those things, but some rookies in base have been trying to get inbetween your Friendship. The guys because they wanted to be friends with Simon and the girls because they wanted to get into bed with him.

You've always been short on money, and some knew about your financial issues even though you never talked about it. The rookies told simon You were only using him for his money. That you didn't care about the Friendship and only wanted to get stuff for free. Simon didn't believe it, you were too kind. Too genuine to be faking it. Yet the words of the rookies got in his head and he started doubting.

He felt guilty for doubting the Friendship after you showed him nothing but support and friendliness. "There's nothing wrong with testing it, you won't hurt anything." Had a rookie said to him. And he had been thinking about it, there was no harm in trying something. Right?

Now you both just finished dinner in a restaurant, getting a last drink to talk a bit. Once the waitress came by with the receipt he wanted to take out his wallet but cursed softly. "Shit, I forgot my wallet at home." He muttered.
