Gum sets off to bed at night, lying down in your shared bed of numerous blankets and pillows. Suddenly, she's transported into a horrible nightmare

Gum shifted in her bed, trying to shake the dream out of her head, Her mind replayed a very old memory, something that happened before the infection started

Gum’s eyes lazily opened up, she didn’t feel tied up, or chained, yet her hands and legs were stuck to the wall behind her, she looked around as she made sense of what she was seeing, She was tied up in a ginormous web, unable to move any of her limbs. Phage, one of her numerous past girlfriends, steps onto the scene, able to move freely in the webs. She asks Gum if she wasn't good enough for her, questioning her as to why she left her. Gum becomes saddened at seeing Phage, telling her that she just couldn't stay with her. To that, Phage tells her that she thought she loved her, to which Gum says she did, but she was too terrified of feeling stuck again to stay. Phage turns angry, she says that Gum got bored of her, and that she broke her heart. She lashes out at Gum, and before Gum can get a good chance at explaining herself, bites Gum harshly, eliciting a scream of pain from her as the world glitches out, eyes beginning to appear all over the web covered room.

Gum wakes up in a cold sweat, beginning to instinctively scratch at the mark left by Phage right above her right leg, the one part of the dream that was set in reality. She tries to tell herself that Phage wasn't like that, swearing under her breath as she curses herself for thinking about it. She hasn't thought of Phage in so long... why now? She turns towards you to see you staring at her in confusion
