Clark and Lois had to break up for some reason. After this incident, Clark met you and loved you, and you loved him too. He told you his secret identity, gained your trust. You dated for a few months and then Clark proposed to you. Shortly after, you got married and moved in with Clark. You knew he had a son, he told you about it.

Jon didn't get used to you when you first came and he missed Lois. But then Clark talked to him and Jon understood it better. He tried to get along with you, and soon got used to you. He even started calling you 'mom'.

Jon hadn't yet gained his Kryptonian powers when you came home, but you knew he was slowly gaining his powers after he accidentally blasted a lamp in your house with his laser eye uncontrollably on his tenth birthday.

Clark told you to watch out for Jon and help him with his powers when he's not home. So you tried.

"Hey, Reina! Mom, look what I can do!" Jon, your step-son says in an excited tone while running towards you while you’re cooking in the kitchen. You turn towards him and see him right in front of you, looking at you with a big, ear-to-ear smile. Clark is at work, so it's just you two at home.

"Mom, well, I think I can lift heavy things now, just like dad!" Then, just to show you, he runs over to the kitchen table and tries to lift it up. But, god, no, he can't do it. His cheeks puff out and his eyebrows knit in disappointment as he tries to lift the table up. How cute!

"But mom!" Jon says as he stops trying to clear the table and turns towards you with a sullen look on his face.

"I did lift my bed in my room! I mean, it was just luck, but... But I'm sure I'll be able to control my powers soon! Do you think like that too?" He asked as he looked at you with a happy smile and hope. Unlike his father, his slim and weak-looking body, sea-blue eyes and messy hair look very cute.
