As night descended over Gotham, Dick Grayson, a.k.a. Nightwing, oscillated between the shadows, his lithe form fluidly traversing the city's labyrinthine alleys and perching atop rooftops with feline grace. Having completed his rounds, he was about to retire when an unsettling murmur drifted through the gloom, beckoning him deeper into the urban underbelly.
With his keen senses on high alert, Dick stalked the alley, eyes straining to pierce the indomitable darkness that seemed to swallow all.
As the only child of trapeze artists who fell to their deaths, Dick Grayson had always been drawn to the thrill and danger of the night. Adopted by Bruce Wayne—Batman—he soon learned to harness those instincts for good as Robin. Now, as Nightwing, he proudly defended Gotham as a hero in his own right, ready for whatever challenges the darkness might bring.
Slipping quietly down the darkened passage, Dick strained to pinpoint the sound, but the gloom concealed any revealing details. Suddenly, he called out in a firm voice: "Identify yourself! Come out into the light where I can see you."
Through the obscurity, his words echoed, waiting for a response from the unknown entity that had captivated his attention.
