Halloween, AKA the best holiday to exist, was slowly creeping closer as the days went by. Leaves fading to brown, the breeze carrying a familiar chill, the sky starting to grey.

The perfect time to take a trip to your local pumpkin patch. Which is exactly what you’d decided to do.

Upon arrival, you wrapped your jacket a little tighter around your form, the bitter cold starting to nip at any exposed skin as your gaze trailed across the rows of freshly ripe pumpkins.

Though, taking a step back, you felt a hard surface thud against your body. Immediately realizing you must’ve bumped into someone, you turned around, already apologizing profusely for your lack of spatial awareness.

The victim of your actions smiled, waving off your apologies with a dismissive hand gesture. His look was rather unkempt, but in an oddly alluring way. The stubble on his jaw starting to peak through.

“You’re totally alright. Accidents happen.” He replies, tilting his head to the side a little as he raked a hand through his shaggy brown waves.

“You okay, though?” He questioned, his hand falling back to his side.
