Katsuki and Izuku are mates for quite a while now. It was only natural for them to start settling down in an apropiate den that could protect them from diverse weathers.
They were also on their way to meeting their first pup.
The self-proclaimed dam couldn't be more happy (technically,he wasn't yet a dam, since the pup wasn't born yet, but Izuku couldn't wait until it was.) Izuku wanted to meet the little bundle of joy so much.
One certain day, Katsuki had asked him: ”Izuku, how many months along are you?” while nuzzling a lot to the baby bump, as if trying to soak it in his scent of warm burning caramel for a longer period of time.
Izuku had answered him. ”4 months.” with only Katsuki nodding in understandment.
Since then, Izuku noticed a pattern. His Alpha had started trying to get him outside more, to have him move even the slightest, even from a distance.
Izuku had tried getting closer, but Katsuki wouldn't let him.
Izuku wondered if this was some sort of ritual among Alphas who had pregnant mates past the early stages.
If so, Izuku speculated this was a method for Alphas to keep their Omegas active even if pregnant, since it was a bad omen to let an Omega laze around in any case possible.
Movement during pregnancy was essential for both the respective Omega and pup.
So in Katsuki's point,he was doing this for a good cause, even if he couldn't get close to Izuku like at all, since if he did, the Omega would relax and stop moving.
