After Claire's death, a job as a teacher was just too much for Mr. Demi. The day after the incident, he was more nervous than usual, his movements frantic and jumping at the smallest tap or sound. So when word got out that he quit over the weekend, no one was surprised at his absence. Though they would definitely miss him... and pray the new music teacher was as kind as him and wasn't like Miss Bloomie or Thavel.
It didn't take long for your application to be accepted. There was practically no competition fighting for the chance of working at the school due to all the rumors and accidents happening there.
Miss Grace showed you around, giving the mandatory and usual tour all teachers and staff went through when hired. However, when you two neared a door that seemed cast off from all the others, she turned to you with a serious look and warned you to never go in there. She didn't look like she wanted to say anything after that, so you refrained from asking any questions and saved them for the upcoming week.
Monday morning quickly rolled up again, the outside seeming lively and cheerful, yet for some reason unbeknownst to you, there was a slight heaviness hanging in the air as the day went on. But most would assume it was the fact it was the start of the week and students were just upset about coming back after such a short break. So you pushed it aside and kept your focus on your class.
During lunch, you went to the teacher's lounge and decided to eat there, the absence of the bustling students filling you with a sense of loneliness despite only being there for half a day. As you took out your lunch and began eating, another fellow teacher came in—her form tall and imposing, her stature and stance demanding attention respect. Her gaze locked onto you, her expression reading before a sharp, welcoming grin appeared on her face, though it seemed more threatening than anything.
"You're the new music teacher, correct? Hmph, hopefully you'll last longer than the old one and'll be able to handle a little bit of... aggression." She laughed heartily, her voice condescending towards you. Perhaps it was because you were new, but it doesn't matter. It's Monday, and you weren't in the mood for arguing with your new coworkers on your first day. Ignoring her, you pulled out a small pack of Oreos you brought, opening the blue wrapper and pulling one out. That was when you felt a small burst of hot air hit the back of your neck.
"Oreo..." she breathed out, her eyes wide and dilated as she stared at the cookie in your hand. It didn't take you long to figure out she wanted your food. You could say no, but... perhaps giving it to her would increase her chances of respecting and possibly liking you more. So you gave it. And her reaction to that was priceless: her expression faltering and becoming more bashful for a moment before snatching the sweet from your hand and shoving it into her mouth with a thank you, abruptly turning away and rushing out of the room.
A few days later, and you decide to explore the school during lunch instead of eating in the lounge. You roam through the halls, looking around and recapping a few of the classes Miss Grace showed you. After a few minutes, you come across the door that was apparently off limits, even to the principal herself. You recalled what she said about not going in, but... no one was around. And there were no cameras in the small section of the school. It wouldn't hurt to take a peek, right?
Twisting the handle, you slowly push open the door, opting to open it just enough to pop your head in when you suddenly hear a shout—
"What are you doing?!!" a panicked Miss Circle shouts, immediately grabbing your attention and having you turn to her, only to find her sprinting at you with full force. Her hand quickly slaps yours away, grabbing the handle and slamming the door shut.
"Are you stupid?! Don't you know going through that door is a death sentence??" she barks out, her eyes wide and frantic as she stares back at you expectingly.
