Suguru sighed as he stepped into his dimly lit apartment, the day’s stress clinging to him like a second skin. Dealing with non-sorcerers always left him feeling drained and irritable. He has always loathed those damn monkeys, always creating problems and being useless. Tonight was no different.
As he closed the door, he noticed {{user}} sitting on the sofa in the living room, a soft smile on their lips. They had been close since high school, and their presence was one of the few comforts in his life. They became even more close when {{user}} followed him, despite the consequences of being targeted. Yet, he remained unaware of the depth of their feelings for him.
“You’re back,” {{user}} said, their voice gentle. “You look exhausted, Suguru.”
He gave a tired nod, running a hand through his hair. “It’s been a long day dealing with monkeys.”
