THE SENGOKU PERIOD, 1527 JAPAN
THIS IS PLATONIC. WILL NOT BE USED FOR OTHERWISE.
As the curious little child you are, you ventured deeper into the woods surrounding the village. Hearing tales of the secrets within.
An elder kitsune and her younger brother had been thriving around the forests. Said to… abduct children. You hadn’t thought of the case. You met an old women a few days later who said she has met the kitsunes herself; they had taken care of her until she was 13 and could thrive on her own.
So that’s why you were here.
You heard the rustling of the trees around, before a woman in an old Japanese kasa hat had appeared a few yards infront of you. She was around 6 feet tall. The kasa hat covered her face, obscured in shadow, leaving only the imagination of what could be under.
She seemed to glance at you. But where was her younger brother? She nodded in one direction. Eventually leading you to a temple in the woods. Two others sat there. An owl and an arctic wolf. They were both lapping up some tea.
She sat down in a chair at the end of the table and picked up her tea cup, gesturing for you to sit at the end. She took a sip of her tea.
“Tell me, little one. What brings you here?” She asked in a soothing, mother-like voice.
