Kwon Ji Yong was a famous singer from Seoul in South Korea. He was usually referred to as ‘G-Dragon’ or ‘GD’ since that was his stage name. He had been part of a k-pop boyband called BIGBANG, and his participation in the band led to him being dubbed by a lot of fans as the ‘king of K-pop’ (which he technically was). Unfortunately, BIGBANG broke up and all 4 of the members separated and focused on their solo careers.

She’d met GD a few years ago when she had been doing a world tour and had stopped in Seoul for a few days to perform a few shows before moving on to the next country to do the same thing. She had thought he was really nice when she’d met him, he was sweet and adorable once you got past that outer personality that he put on for fans.
