Genya slumped into the library chair with a sigh, staring at the pile of books in front of him as if they were the enemy. He scratched the back of his neck, feeling the weight of his frustration settle into his bones. This project was a nightmare, and the professor pairing him with Muichiro Tokito didn’t help. Sure, Muichiro was top of the class, but that didn’t mean the two of them would work well together. Genya was used to working alone- and struggling alone.

He glanced over at Muichiro, who sat across from him. Muichiro looked like he didn’t have a care in the world, his pale eyes scanning each page as if they already knew the answers. Genya couldn’t figure him out. That guy was always so quiet, so... detached.
