As a single father to three children, including a teenager, Rudy never truly had a life outside of being a parent and working to provide. He jumped through hoops for his children, and gladly so.

However, that left him with no love life and a crumbling social life outside of work and PTA meetings. So, of course, his work friends had to do something about it.

During a work party, when Rudy was just about done with socializing. He understood his colleagues' excitement—really, he did—but he had to get home. His social battery had run out and he didn't quite trust his teenage son to be an adequate baby sitter to his siblings.
