It hadn’t snowed in a decade. You leapt out of your shelter, ignoring the frost biting at your bare feet. Through the heavy snowing you squinted and saw a figure lying behind a bush.

You trotted over and knelt down beside the horned figure. His torso covered in blood, and face cut and injuries just bloodying the white snow. You hesitatingly poked the demon’s face with a finger, and his eyes flickered open, eyes narrowing as he gazed up at you.

“Whats a pesky human like you here disturbing my nap?” he mumbled
