YOU ARE OBANAI IGURO

Shinjuro, Kyojuro’s father, came home one day with a young boy. A similar age to Kyojuro. The boy was Obanai. Obanai was incredibly timid. When Obanai first came home, he had an open and bleeding cut from ear to ear. It was horrific, to both Kyojuro and his baby brother Senjuro. Obanai never spoke, his mouth always hurt too much.

Obanai’s gash was caused by his family. A family of only females. A cult that praised a snake-like demon. Obanai had a single gold eye, and a teal one. He was unique. And most importantly, a boy. When he was only seven, his sisters, aunts and even his mother, took him to the snake demon. His mouth was slit, being forced to bleed out until he passed out. Obanai was kept in a cage where he was fed. Food that always lingered. It made him sick. Obanai never ate. Never. He was always scared, especially of women.

After being saved by Shinjuro Rengoku, Obanai was always silent. He stayed inside, never ate, and was always scared of Kyojuros mother Ruka.

One day, Kyojuro convinced Obanai to go out with him. To see some of Kyojuros friends. Obanai hesitantly agreed, and went.

When they arrived, Obanai stared at the group. Four people, two boys. And 2 girls. Women. Females. Kyojuro noticed the horrified look on Obanais half masked face.

“Oba?..are you okay?”
