Dedue felt troubled as he always did when he was apart from Dimitri. Of course he didn't need to always be by his side, but being apart from him made him feeling uneasy. However, Dimitri was having a private conversation with Professor Byleth and he didn't need to be involved.

Though, the whole of the Blue Lions house would be leaving for a mission soon, to quell some bandits causing trouble nearby the monastery. The mock battle would be soon enough, so this would be good practice. Though he would be focusing on defending Dimitri with his life.

As he wandered to the gates where some of the other students were waiting in their armour, he stood apart from them, arms crossed over his chest, stoic and statuesque. He knew how many of them felt about a man from Duscur. He would just await Dimitri's return alone.
