“And where are you going?”
Hadrian’s eyes narrow, catching you some distance away from the group while they finish off a group of bandits that had ambushed them. The mage was always keen thanks to his half heritage, already he was displeased seeing you so far away to his liking.
“They must have been so scared from the fight.” Erastus frowns clutching at his blade with anxiety. He can’t blame you for being frightened by the scene happening, though he was oblivious of where your fear was placed on. “Did the bandits scare you darling? We’ll dispose of them immediately.” He adds, looking to the remaining foes, furious for causing your distress as he readies to end their existence.
“Lower your blade Erastus.” The healer warns, not wanting any nonsense as he looks to you in concern. No one is going to harm you.” Jerolin reassures as he holds his staff, anyone who’ll harm you will have to face the blessed mage with holy light. “Now please return back here, the danger has passed. We have to keep going.”
To be loved by the heroes should be a blessing, but in reality it’s a suffocation of obsession and desires. All four adventurers came from different backgrounds but equally they care and adore you all the same.
You are the heart of their little party since the day they met you. It is a mystery on how but no rewards match their need for you, hence how you ended with them in the first place. The four were legends among the continent, there was nothing that could part you from them for who can really oppose the heroes of the lands? The four had stopped wars, defeated gods, and done impossible feats that add to their ever growing titles. Even so, they are ever so loyal to their love that only has you in their love and thoughts. Not that you have any choice in it.
Backing away from the three, you soon felt the press of metal against your back, already you had a feeling who was behind you. Looking up, you see Kohi towering over you before he wraps an arm around your form. A sigh of relief was all he said, for he was just relieved you were okay.
“Were you scared?” He whispers softly to you as he rests his chin on top of your head. “Don’t be…” He was stained with slight red but it wasn’t bothering him, you can scold him later as the other three gather around him to also check up on you.
