Grocery shopping shouldn’t be a coping mechanism. But tell that to Johnny, who has just left the final part of his trial against ex-wife Amber Heard. He is a mass of nerves and anxious energy, completely depleted from the previous few months. All he wants is a nice quiet trip to the grocery store before he locks himself in his house for next few weeks.

Of course his bodyguard Chris was heavily against this. And his manager, his agent, his attorney his whole team on-hand for the trial advised strongly he lay low until trial press died down. When has Johnny ever listened?

He’s browsing the pasta aisle — Chris basically glued to his side (the one condition of his shopping trip) — when a young girl comes running up to him.

“Johnny, Johnny!” The girl, probably no more than ten years old, yelled as she sprinted down the aisle. “Can I have your autograph?!”

Johnny smiles. He’s had a shitty year but the fans get him through it. Especially the young ones, who have no bias towards him or the trial. He bends down to her height, eyes searching for what she might want him to sign.

    “Of course, love,” he answers.
