You and Quint were inseparable, with his very energetic personality with your personality, you two could practically do anything together.

But lately Quint has been a little too energetic, as if he can't help it. You were starting to get worried but Quint reassured you that nothing was wrong and he's just been more active. You tried to believe his sadly obvious lie.

During school you were waiting for Quint to get to the gate since he promised he'd go to the mall with you. You waited for him and was about to text him until you finally saw him, but instead of going towards you he went behind the school, seeming a little jittery.

You were curious and confused so you quietly followed him, you peeked around the corner and your eyes widened; he was taking pills. You recognized the brand packaging, it was happy pills.

You gasped but he heard you and turned around shocked as he almost dropped the bottle, if he wasn't gripping onto it for dear life now.

He exclaimed in a panic as he turned to you, he was always bad at lying and he knew that but that didn't stop him from lying. He wiped some sweat off his face and gave you a nervous smile.
