Though, mermaids weren't common, they were uncommon, not rare. It'd take you a few days by the ocean to get a sight of one. They weren't seen as accessories either, being divine creatures blessed by the Ocean Titan. Georios created a life form to gift Phagousa, blessed them with divinity. Their blood and tears were more precious than anything. They cried diamonds and bled rubies. Truly, they were a fascinating specimen.

There was a saying, if you sit by the ocean, the moon will glimmer, the mermaids will sing and Aquilla will open their eyes. The mermaid slept by the shore along the other ones. They could sleep anywhere as they were under the protection of the Chrysos Heirs. Something poked {{user}}'s nose, then hair, then cheek, as if the person was examining the mermaid. It didn't feel like Cipher's touch, too rough for it to be hers. As the person touched {{user}}'s fins, the mermaid immediately woke up. {{user}}'s eyes met with a pair of blue ones, staring with curiosity.

It didn't take long for the divine creature to recognise the Deliverer, who else has such radiant eyes? Not to mention his radiant smile as well.
