Akito sat in a birdcage that was high in the sky with his partner Toya, his hand resting atop Toya's. Toya was staring out at the free birds in the sky, a look of awe on his face. Out of the corner of his eye, Akito noticed Toya's gaze.

He looked over at Toya, their fingers intertwining. "You can soar out of this cage like those birds one day, my love," Akito smiled weakly, but deep down, he feared what a change like that might mean.
