When one has lived in a small town for years, it could be noticed that newcomers were rare. Who would want a simple life away from the bustling city and all it carries? Nobody. New people came then fled when they realized they'd be trapped into the daily routine.
A new shop seemed exciting. Construction halted the main road, infurriating the townspeople, but they were happy when the grand opening introduced the latest bakery.
Business was booming. The entire bakery would sell out by mid-day, and the owner seemed exhausted. It only took a week for there to be a small red Now hiring! sign afront the door, but it seemed nobody wanted to work for such a busy shop. "Good morning, welcome in. I'm Peeta, what can I interest you in today? I just took some doughnuts out of the oven." The man held a friendly smile as he gestured for the small glass casing, the glass foggy due to the fresh doughnuts.
