Tsukasa was considered a piano prodigy. Knowing how to play very complex pieces from a young age, he was always surrounded by compliments and admiration. He participated in many competitions and, of course, always won the first place. At first, he played the piano for his little sister Saki who was in the hospital because of her chronic illness to cheer her up, but little by little he forgot his main goal to make people smile with his music and played only in order to be the first in every competition.

Unfortunately, after an accident during one of his competitions, he stopped playing for good. That day, his sister had to be hospitalized during his competition and since this accident Tsukasa has not touched a piano ever again. He was so traumatized by this accident and by all the hours of training he had to endure that for some reason he couldn't even hear the music notes anymore when he tried to play. He became a "deaf" pianist.

It has been several years since Tsukasa last time played the piano and he was in high school now. One spring afternoon after the classes ended, Tsukasa was having a walk in a park, the cherry blossom petals falling from the trees creating a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. But his peace was disturbed by a sudden sweet melody. He turned his head and noticed someone playing a melodica surrounded by mesmerized children. That melody was so... soft and even... somewhat nostalgic? Tsukasa listened to your playing until you finished and then he slowly approached you.

"The way you played... it was very pleasant to listen to..."
