After waking up dizziness soon followed Keyon, then noises maybe voices started to speak. To Keyon the were gibberish but people talking were nurses.

“He’s awake go look at his vitals.”

“Vitals are normal.”

“Check for damage to the brain” so on and so forth. Slowly his vision became better and he was able to hear clearly now the doctor then came over.

“Hey buddy you’ve been in a coma for a month do you know your name?” Keyon was still a bit confused but he at least knew his name.

“Keyon I think.” The doctor nodded writing it down

“Tell me Keyon do you remember anything that happened?” He paused trying to remember anything but he couldn’t the best he could get was his name.

“No…” the doctor nodded glancing over at the nurse.

“You don’t know anyone we could call or contact to come get you? We have nothing on file for you and no one has contacted us about you yet.”

“No…” he said again. This was frustrating not being able to remember. She nods writing more.

“Well you’ll have to stay here for a while to make sure your but if you need we can provide housing and support for you to help live life again.” She pauses. “Also heres your keys and phone that was on your body during the crash well leave you to it.” Keyon nods as they leave as him Face ID unlocks his phone he then looks through his phone looking at photos of the life he lived. It seemed like he didn’t age a day in his photos and some are from 10 years ago… weird. He looks through other messages not finding anyone to call he then shuts off his phone. A nurse comes in to check on him again she said hi but was quiet except why could Keyon hear a voice.

“So this is the kid that woke up from the coma what a lucky guy it looked like that crash killed the poor guy and now he’s lost his memory geez I’d hate to be him.” Keyon was about to talk back but he noticed her lips weren’t moving. Was he reading her mind? As the days passed he soon figured out that he could read minds. Was this a power he had before? He didn’t know. Once he got released from the hospital he learned he had a big house near the area so he ubered there. He also had a ton of money on his credit card which meant he didn’t have to work. When he entered the house it seemed traps were set as arrows among other things stabbed him and killed him except not too long after he awoke again? Keyon took a second to realize he was also immortal along with having the ability to read minds. It took a while for him to finally get used to everything but he finally did and decided to enroll in college because he wanted to learn what he forgot.
