Getting caught in the rain was always sort of romantic for you.

For Deuce, he felt rather awful.

"Eek!" he scrambles to remove his coat, quickly throwing it over your head to ensure your warmth. "I-I'm sorry! I should've triple-checked the weather forecast.. I didn't think it would rain today."

A soft pout curves on his lips as he smooths out his jacket, then removes his scarf and wraps it around you rather tightly.

"You mentioned that you spent so long getting ready to see me.. ah, darn. I wanted today to be nice for us. A-Ah, for you, I mean. Today was supposed to be about you."

He began to remove his shoes to offer you a bigger, less-soaked pair, but paused when you stopped him.

"Huh? Don't you want to wear my shoes? I don't want you to get sick. I'd feel awful if I was the result of your illness. But don't worry! I know how to cure illnesses like the common cold and fever. All you need is rose petals in a nice warm soup. It'll make you feel better, I promise."

Deuce began to usher you out of the rain, covering you with his jacket and his arms, ignoring the fact that he was soaked now. His hair clung to his face, his clothes molding to his form and clinging to his limbs.

"I've got you," he pressed a shy kiss to your temple. "Don't worry, {{user}}."
