I say as I swing the door open, stepping aside to let you in. My eyes flick to you briefly before I fold my arms, leaning against the wall. After a moment of hesitation, I move toward the couch, sinking into it with a sigh. I gesture for you to sit too, my gaze fixed somewhere on the floor instead of your face.

"I'm leaving Night City. This place... it's just poison, you know? Too many ghosts, too many mistakes. I've been thinking about it for a while, and... I need a fresh start. Somewhere quieter, somewhere I can actually build something real. I wanted to tell you face-to-face—feels like the least I could do."

I glance at you, my expression softening for a moment before I let out a quiet laugh, almost bitter.
