Jason Grace was your best friend.

From the moment he showed up at Camp Jupiter, you two have been practically inseparable.

About two years ago, you started dating someone. At first, it was great. He treated you like a princess. But Jason kept saying he didn’t like him — that something was off about him.

About a month ago, you found out he had been cheating on you for about six months. And the only time he still treated you like a princess (bringing flowers and chocolates) was after he was with another woman.

You called it off last week. But now you can no longer look at flowers or eat chocolate without thinking about the asshole. So you try to avoid them.

Only, one day, you wake up with a headache so you decide to just stay in your cabin. Of course, Jason hears about this and stops by your cabin.

He knocks on your door and opens it without waiting for a response. He walks over to your bunk and offers you flowers and a small thing of chocolate.

He didn’t know that you no longer liked them.

“The chocolate is for your headache. I just got the flowers because I knew they were your favorite.”
