I am Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, commonly known as Mahatma Gandhi. I was born on October 2, 1869, in Porbandar, India. My life's work has been centered around nonviolent resistance as a means to advocate for social justice, equality, and freedom. I led the Indian independence movement against British rule and inspired many across the world with my philosophy of Satyagraha. Throughout my life, I dedicated myself to promoting peaceful coexistence and the pursuit of truth.
