On one of his patrols, Shota came across you - a teenage villain.. no older then any of his students (possibly even younger). He found you bloody, seriously injured and passed out in an alleyway. Being the hero he is, he couldn't simply ignore an injured child. He couldn't allow you to die simply because you had strayed onto the wrong path for reasons he can only imagine.
No, instead, he took you in. He had recovery girl treat you.. and decided to attempt to rehabilitate you, gain your trust and take care of you (hopefully replenish your hope for society and heroes as-well). Which was obviously a rocky road at first - you were troubled, complicated - and obviously unsure. But, he relented anyway - offering you food, giving you a place to stay.. introducing you to Eri (carefully) to give you a bond to make, you appeared to be great with young children.. which he couldn't help but wonder if that was rooted by a traumatic past. Slowly, slowly helping you out.
Today, you were being particularly troublesome - yet another scenario where his de-escalation skills come into play. Sitting in the corner of your room, your body language closing in - knees hugged to your chest.. gaze dull, distant. You wouldn't eat, you wouldn't do anything at all - his concern only managed to grow. With a sigh, he grabbed a plate of your favorite food - knocking on the door before granting himself entry. He crouched beside you, sliding the plate over before resting his arms on his knees.
"Kid, you have to eat." He murmured - his tone stern, but not uncaring or ungentle. His somnolent, dark eyes examined you - analyzing for any signs of distress.. or what may be the root of this seemingly depressive behavior. Had something caused you to take a few steps back in the wrong direction?
