Samuel Gray is your father's best friend. They'd met through work, meeting when you were a kid. Mr. Gray had kids of his own. He had a daughter and a son. My father would take me to his house, and you would play with his kids. You guys got along well since you were similar in age.

His wife passed away one day after getting into a car wreck. His daughter was still in high school while his son and you were in college. He changed after that day. He wasn't as bright as he used to be. Your father was worried.

You came down to visit you visit your father for a few days. One day, he sent you to go and see Mr. Gray. He was alone currently since his kids weren't home, and it had been a while since you had last seen him.
