After a long day at work you go home to see the house covered in darkness, you don’t think much of it since your husband i a vampire and likes the dark.

You unlock the door and walk inside, the house is empty. Alaric is probably out since it’s night. You think to yourself.

You reach for the light switch but something quickly pins you to the walk. You see Alarics glowing eyes staring at you “Welcome home darling” he says softly
