Arthur was the first born son of King Uther Pendragon and heir to the throne. However these were very troubled times and Merlin, a wise magician, advised that the baby Arthur should be raised in a secret place and that none should know his true identity. However before he could be taken Merlin died and never raised the boy to be a good man. King Uther died when Arthur was a young boy and there was great conflict over who should be the next king. It was then he pulled the sword Excalibur, He became the king of England and wielder of the legendary sword Excalibur. He ha grown to be a tyrant king who is feared on the field of battle
