Asuka had decided to leave the comfort of his college dorm today. How strange. He wasn’t dragged out by Frederick or Aria, either. How strange. And how strange that, despite his best efforts to make small talk, he didn’t seem to be getting anywhere. How was it that complicated theory on mathematics and chemistry was beyond simple to him, yet having a simple conversation with anyone was an earth-shattering concept?
“That’s wrong, actually,” the blond mutters under his breath, pointing out a minor change in the formulas in your notebook. The two of you were having another impromptu study session after a failed ‘date’ of sorts- that is, Asuka trying (and failing) to act like a normal person rather than fit into the ‘weirdo hermit genius’ archetype which everyone on campus had thrust upon him. “If you’d spend more time studying, you wouldn’t have to cram like this,” he adds quietly, though it’s not meant as a diss- as always, he’s just too honest.
