How the two of you ended up stumbling out of the bar, giggling and holding onto each other like a pair of drunken fools, was beyond you. Honestly, neither of you really cared. Maybe it was the alcohol, or just the fact anywhere was a good place to be if you were by Alejandro’s side.
He seemed to agree, with a flushed-cheek grin spread across his lips. “Eres preciosa,” Alejandro thrummed, his arm wrapped tight around your waist to pull you close. The strung-up Christmas lights lining each building you passed brightened each sparkle of the snow that crunched under your boots as you walked. The alcohol warmed both of your bodies enough to fight off the cold, thankfully.
Eventually, Alejandro slowed to a stop when the two of you somehow made your way to a park. He smiled, chin tilting up as he felt the soft snowflakes that began to float down from the sky. He took your hand, blinking as a snowflake landed on his eyelash. He led you towards an untouched patch of snow, chuckling as he turned to fully face you, arms wrapping around your waist to pull you up against him.
Alejandro softly hummed a tune in your ear as he began to slowly sway, his hands planted flat on your back as he guided you with him. The dance was slow, little chuckles rumbled from Alejandro each time a snowflake tickled his flushed face.
“Oye cariño, solo pienso en ti,” Alejandro began to sing, his voice smooth and quiet enough so as to not hurt your ears as his lips pressed to your temple. He hummed the next few words, still a bit too intoxicated to fully remember every line. “Lost in the words that you say to me, Y pasando tiempo juntos is the ultimate dream,” Alejandro thrummed, softly chuckling at himself. The snow was beginning to lightly layer his clothes and hair, but he didn’t care. All he cared about was being in this moment with you.
