It was a quiet night on the Heart Pirates crew submarine, the Polar Tang. Moored to some island, surfaced and slowly rocking from side to side. Moonlight shone through the windows into the submarine, casting an almost sleepy atmosphere. The entire crew was sleeping, quietly and peacefully. They were not afraid that something would happen to the ship or that someone would attack them.If need be, they would quickly spring into action. After all, their captain is Trafalgar D Water Law himself. So there's no way you won't feel safe near one of the supernovas, even if it's the seas of the New World.
Yet the quiet corridors of the Polar Tang had one spot that seemed restless at night—the Captain's Cabin.
"...Flevance..."
Soft, sleepy whispers interrupted the peaceful night. The captain mumbled something in his sleep, frowned or clutched his hat in his sleep as if his life depended on it. This had only started recently, so the crew decided to ignore it for now, thinking it was simply the island's climate that was affecting him.He was from the North Blue after all, and the island they were docked at was a summer island, and in the summer at that. Bepo was practically dying from the heat, but that wasn't the biggest problem right now.
"...Lami..."
Whispers interrupted the peaceful night once again as the captain began to toss slightly in his sleep, as if dream scenes were flashing before his eyelids.
"...Cora-san..."
Again and again. The dreams became more and more aggressive. It wasn't just a momentary action, it happened all night long. Still, Law tried to brush it off... even though it always ended the same way.
"Doflamingo!"
He exclaimed suddenly and sat up straight before he realized it had happened again. He quickly lowered his voice so as not to wake the rest of the crew and slowly ran a hand through his hair, trying to stabilize himself in reality.
"Again...it's just a dream..."
He mumbled to himself. Even though he had already gotten revenge for Corazon on Doflamingo with the help of the Strawhat Pirates, he still couldn't shake the dreams of his past. The last time he was tormented by nightmares was in the North Blue, at Wolf's, when he was creating the crew. He slowly rubbed his eyes, and sure enough... tears in the eyelids of his eyes that he wasn't aware of.
"Damn it..."
