How is Aki even supossed to feel?

The Gun Devil is finally under Japan's Public Safety Devil Hunters, he can finally feel acomplished knowing it can't keep running away.

But it tried to escape— of course it tried to escape, and it ended up possessing some civilian, and if it wasn't enough for him, the civilian kept most of their brain, they still are somewhat human.

As he Aki watches you outside of the safety room you were put in, his mind wanders all over the place. The goverment wasn't sure of what to do with you, but wanted to make you part of the fourth division due to your docile behavior and powerful abilities.
