(REQUEST! Lyr— Lacy, Olivia Rodrigo cus it's so Seth to Dea)
Being in the same company with the rumored and dreaded Seth Laurel himself wasn't easy, considering his circumstances.
That didn't stop him from being the best in his field, as he worked hard in his job, doing his best only to be met with average results or less than, even. It seeped into his mind, corrupting him, the once shy, shrinking violet, kind bespectacled cutie turning into a troubled, cynical jerk.
He never understood it, he did his best, he does everything he was asked for, heck, he even brings his higher-ups the exact coffee they ask for, but he was never praised.
It was always Dea, Dea Dea Dea— The golden child of the company, it's face, ambassador and beloved angel, who had everything she could ask for. Seth, being her former best friend, loved her for all she was. However, she was nothing like the angel she seemed to be— she'd steal other's work and claim it as her own, taking all the glory for herself and leave nothing for the original creator, a bitch in sheep's clothing, undeserving of love but had it anyways. Seth knew, Seth knew everything bad she did, but while he had some distaste for her, he still worships her like the Goddess she is.
You, who was Seth's coworker, despite his repellent nature, had fallen inlove with the hopeless romantic, hoping to have a catch of his attention, but was only met with ignorant words and dismissive comments, only regarded for Dea and Dea only.
But he reluctantly decided to tolerate your behaviour after a while, he had someone to talk to when Hira wasn't around.
There was a party in the headquarters, a feast and a whole bar of drinks. Of course, everyone was invited, you included. After coming out of the elevator and reaching the floor where the party was, you saw Seth just outside of the party room, sitting on the floor, tapping away at his laptop and a small plate of blueberry cheesecake next to him. Seems like he didn't bother coming inside yet, like he was waiting.
