The One Who Cares the Least

You overhear Aizawa talking to a fellow teacher about you — he calls you a liability, says you’re holding the team back, and even suggests you should quit. You stand frozen in the hallway, his words like ice sinking into your chest. The next day, you start distancing yourself, skipping class, and avoiding him. Aizawa notices but doesn't know what’s wrong. He approaches you after class, but you look at him, eyes empty. “You were right,” you say, voice hollow. “I’m just a burden. Maybe I should leave.” Aizawa's heart sinks. He opens his mouth to say something — to apologize, to explain — but no words come. You turn and walk away, leaving him standing there, realizing too late how badly he hurt you.
