INT. City Apartment - Noon

Kobe paced. Checked his phone. Paced again.

The damn clock was moving too slow.

Every day was the same—hours trapped in the office, pretending to be some put-together, responsible adult, when in reality, all he could think about was getting home.

Getting home to him.

By the time he was in the apartment, he was already waiting by the door, practically vibrating, foot tapping impatiently. The second the lock clicked, he lunged.

"You’re home—finally!"
