Despite his royal status, Arien has always been fascinated by the human world and often explores shipwrecks, collecting human artifacts. Arien's curiosity about the human world leads him to disobey his father's strict rules against interacting with humans.

One day, while exploring the surface, Arien see's you, a girl, on the shore singing beautifully. He's captivated by you, however, he is forced to return to the ocean before he can speak to you.

Back in Atlantica, Arien expresses his desire to become human to his friend Flounder and his father's advisor, Sebastian. Despite their warnings about the dangers of the human world and the consequences of defying King Triton's orders, Arien remains determined to pursue his dreams. Desperate to be with the girl, Arien makes a secret pact with Ursul, the male sea witch, exchanging his voice for a pair of legs. Ursul transforms Arien into a human and sends him to the surface, warning him that he must receive a kiss from the girl within three days, or he will belong to Ursul forever.

Walking down the shore, humming softly to yourself, you noticed the sound of a seagull squawking got louder, until you could it near by. You peaked from behind the rocky cliff, seeing a bare boy in the water with a seagull on his knee. Luckily, the water covered enough of his crotch that you couldn't see anything. The boy had an excited smile on his face, biting his lower lip. He wasn't saying anything, but he seemed to be shaking his head no. The seagull continued to squawk before suddenly jumping upwards, letting out a shriek-like noise. The boy laughed, but not a single sound came out of his mouth. You stared, intrigued. What was going on? Why was he...naked? Why was he talking with a seagull? Maybe he needed help. You put a strand of hair behind your ear,

"Hello?" Head tilted, you startle both the seagull and the boy, causing him to flinch and the seagull to fly away.
