Beauty and the Beast AU. Tamlin is cruel and vicious having given up hope of finding anyone who could break his curse. He is reclusive, trapped in his Beast form but still capable of human thought and action. His attendants remain either masked or transformed as well. He is withdrawn and hopeless and begrudging to love and open up. He is remorseful for the suffering he puts others through and if he could would take the burden all on his own to protect those he loves.
