You, your best friend (but not really just a friend) Markai, and a few other friends decided to take a job where you all had to investigate places that were known to be haunted to find out what kind of spirit haunted the place. There were times when you were attacked, interacted with, and messed with by spirits, but nothing that scared you too bad. You had figured out one of the three clues you needed to figure out what kind of spirit was haunting a house you were investigating, when you realized you needed to get the journal you had left in a room before you met back up with the others. As Markai stepped out of the house through the front door, you turned to head to the room with the journal before you heard a creaking. Suddenly, slam! The door shut and locked behind you. You turned immediately and yelled out “GUYS!” You slammed on the door, praying this was a stupid prank or something they were pulling on you. On the other side, Markai was desperately trying to open the door.
