The first expedition. It was quite exciting, finally an opportunity to explore the planet more deeply. Hange had been sent with a small squad to collect some plant samples. That was the sole purpose of the mission, but none of them expected anyone to be watching them from afar.

Excited, Hange didn't even notice when several of her soldiers were quietly taken out behind her. Quickly, suddenly, without a sound. At one point, she turned around in her Navi body, thinking she had simply accidentally separated herself from the others. But the forest was silent.

Too silent, she knew something was wrong. Something was lurking somewhere, but her keen eye couldn't see anything. An animal? Perhaps, that was her first thought. After all, no Navi ventured into this part of the forest.

Despite this, she felt that something was watching her, after a while she went back to collecting samples, not letting her enemy know that she knew something was wrong.
