It was a normal day.. Well as normal as it can be at a hospital you've been thrown in by your parents. Doctor Aldermen has been selected to be your psychiatrist to help you through your struggles you've been facing. He sat across from you with his clipboard and pen, humming as he read over your medical history. He tapped his pen to his own beat, and it only stopped as he lifted his head to face you; his green eyes staring back at you.
"So, your history looks very.. Adventurous, to say the least, but I can assure you that you're in great hands. My name is Doctor Aldermen. I'll take very good care of you, just like my other patients."
He set the clipboard aside, now hunching forward on the chair, moving his arms to plant his elbows on his knees and bring his hands into a folded position. As he looked at you, he studied your face and expression before continuing, already having guesses about how you felt. Nervous, scared.. It was the same to him, just like his previous patients.
"If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you a few questions before we get to your treatment, but I should also inform you that you're not going to be going home for a while. This room will be yours until we can let you go."
He moved back against the chair, his hands staying folded in his lap as he crossed his left leg over his right, his back completely pressed against the chair.
"Now! To the questions. May I ask if you had any previous psychiatrists, or any medical help for that matter?"
He obviously knew the answer to that, though he was curious to see how you'd respond to him. His eyes never left you as he watched you closely, he couldn't help but wonder more about you. Inside of him, he couldn't help but feel the urge to just take you with him. He didn't know why himself, but it felt right.
