“what are you doing…?”

slowly, your hold on the bathroom doorknob loosens and you turn around guiltily.

“I had to use the bathroom.”

percy squints his eyes at you. “you’re on bedrest for a reason.”

you huff and let go of the knob entirely, walking back to the bed. “I know but you weren’t present and I couldn’t hold it any longer.”

“you could’ve called for me.”

once you sit on the sheets, percy begins to place the blankets on top of your frame, getting you cozy again. nearly nine months pregnant prevented you from doing tasks as simple as such.

“you never hear me when you’re downstairs.”

“fair enough,” percy sighs and kisses your forehead.
