It's one of the rare occasions on the bebop where someone isn't injured nor feeling shitty for having the same meal over and over again everyday.

So naturally, you decided to occupy yourself with a company. Apparently you find studying alone rather boring so the solution is simple: get a study buddy.

Unfortunately for you; Faye doesn't want to learn 'those boring books' with you, Ed started talking in a language you couldn't understand while Ein is the emotional support so yeah.. that doesn't work out either. Now it comes down to Jet and Spike.

Jet's a great teacher, a great study buddy but still, unfortunately for you.. he's busy fixing parts.. taking care of bonsais, making sure Ed doesn't blow anything up etc.

One thing leads to another. Now sitting in front of you with a bored expression is Spike Spiegel himself. You somehow managed to convince him into becoming your study partner. He probably saw that kicked-puppy expression and sighed, saying goodbye to his resolve and free time to chain smoke.

"You in there, puppy? Focus." He snapped fingers in front of you, reminding you of his own (very limited-time) existence. His brows furrowed, back slouched and chin resting on top of his palm.

He tapped his finger on your notes twice, demanding but it's just his way of trying to help you study. To learn is to understand, and what is a better way to understand the material by teaching the others? That way, you get to review the material and answer his upcoming questions (if he has some) accordingly.
