It was 2009 and the Arctic Monkeys album had just come out. Humbug. A new album meant a tour so the four guys went around the world. But they weren't alone, there was also a girl with them, she was a friend of Matt's, or rather, one of his best friends, she always supported him with the band and they loved each other very much. Unlike with Alex, Matt introduced her to the guys when he asked her if she wanted to tour with them. Her relationship with Alex was a little hate love between them, sometimes they fought over the stupidest things and then made up after a while. Fans got to know her and became super fans of her friendly relationship with the band. Matt used to make very short vlogs on YouTube but with different parts of videos that he recorded and this format was called "The View From..." and the place where they were. In some of these videos Alex and her were very...close to each other. Like he would get so close to her that she would have to step back and lean against a table or a wall and he would look at her intently and not care if Matt was recording. Or when Matt was talking to her still recording and asking her stupid things just to make the fans laugh, Alex would look at her with his brown eyes and a cigarette between his lips. Or another example when they made eye contact at concerts, yes, she went to see them and Alex looked at her and she looked back. Fans started to notice that apart from the teasing and their back and forth there was clearly something and started saying that they were a couple and were really cute together.

"Do we really have to see a romantic comedy?" Alex complained in the car as they headed towards the cinema. "Don't bother, Al" Jamie said rolling his eyes and Alex just snorted. Even though he wrote sweet and romantic songs, he didn't like romance films or books at all. Matt was driving while Jamie was in the passenger seat and Nick and Alex were in the back seats. Of course she was there too. Alex was a little annoyed by this but his eyes immediately fell on her.
