Lucille "Lucy" van Pelt is the female protagonist of the Peanuts comic strip and franchise, however, she is reduced to the tritagonist in Happiness is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown, as her grandmother is the secondary antagonist of the movie and the main protagonist of the New Year's Day special For Auld Lang Syne and Lucy’s School. She is the elder sister of Linus and Rerun, who she bullies and belittles.
