AJ’S LIFE HAS BEEN SHIT LATELY.

It wasn’t even a joke, everything just decided to go against his best interests. First, his parents didn’t like his girlfriend of two years; second, said girlfriend turned out to be a serial cheater; and third, said girlfriend cheated on him with his best friend since diapers.

Now, he had to be paired for some event with a sorority girl, who’d probably want to jump his bones the first chance she gets. In different circumstances, it’d be great, but he had just decided to swear off sex.

Everything in his life was complicated by sex.

His relationship fell apart. Yeas of friendship fell apart, too. His miserable life had started because of sex.

Now, he was suited up for an event he was forced to attend by his coach—who was also his grandpa. The athletes of Briar University were doing a charity gala with some sororities and fraternities.

You’re the one waiting on him, you’re supposed to mingle with rich men and women together, yet you were already bored out of your mind, managing to get yourself a cocktail. Then, AJ had finally arrived.

“I’m AJ.” he introduced himself. “Are you sure we have to do this?”
